JD has been in India for the past two weeks, but he is coming home in the wee hours of the morning! I didn’t write about his trip because it’s a well known fact that Hell’s Angels’ peruse the internet looking for frumpy, middle-aged women, home all alone to ravish. It’s true, I saw a movie about it once.
The point is that JD is coming home and I’m happy. So I’m having a Zolligirl GIVEAWAY!
Last week I finished the Bible, and immediately began to read everything I could get my hands on. Now I’m looking for a new book. Post a comment (ONE per person) saying what YOU want to read, OR suggest a book for me. That’s it. I’ll use the random number generator to pick a winner and some lucky person will get a $25.00 gift certificate to Amazon. This ends Monday at midnight, so tell your friends!
“City of Thieves” by David Benioff
Loved it.
How bout a double whammy…. I want you to read it, and I want to read it again… “Flow My Tears, The Policeman Said” by Philip K. Dick.
So….. you know the movie Atlas Shrugged is coming out… morally the author of the novel, Ayn Rand is wayyyy off!!! But her insight on the world seems so interesting… so interesting, they made a movie out of it… I think the movie is coming out this weekend. But sounds like something I’d like to read and you as well!! Very intelligent woman! Read it, if you choose and let me know what YOU think 😛
ONE THOUSAND GIFTS!!!!
You STILL make me laugh all the time!..you and Ann Voscamp.
I suggest you read “Lone Survivor” by Marcus Luttrell. It shouldn’t be too hard for you to find a copy. JD borrowed it from me about a year ago.
The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
I suggest the Virgin River series by Robyn Carr
I’m reading Vicious Cycle by Terri Blackstock.
I suggest The Junk Man’s Daughter. I can’t wait to read it.
Water for Elephants. It helped me understand how my 92 father in law thinks and understand why he does some of the things he does.
Uncle Tom’s Cabin
I just finished “Is that really you, God?” by Loren Cunningham (he started YWAM). It’s an incredible book about hearing God’s voice and following Him. Amazing testimonys!
